Your role will be to support the People Partner team within Children and Family Services, working across a spectrum of services including Safeguarding and Early Help, Education and Safer NEL. You will provide expert and professional advice to managers on people issues to include attendance, performance, conduct and resolution, recruitment and organisational change. You will risk assess cases and provide managers with options on how cases can be managed.
As well as managing a complex mix of casework, you will support managers to effectively navigate conflict situations to achieve resolutions, and foster positive working relationships with colleague.
In addition to the day-to-day operational support for Children and Family Services, you will also be part of a wider Partnering team supporting the development and review of HR practice, policy and procedure across the organisation.
About You
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will need to be able to make informed decisions based on factual information and have the confidence to handle difficult or emotional conversations and situations.
You will have the ability to influence and engage managers across North East Lincolnshire Council through excellent verbal and written communication.
You will have a generalist background with developed employee relations skills and preferential experience in complex cases.
You will be a self-starter who is flexible and adaptable to change able to tolerate ambiguity and be resilient.

This exciting role will be working within the Estates and Business Development Team to provide advice in relation to the property portfolio and estate. The role will include assistance in the provision of professional estates management, across a varied portfolio of corporate (operational) commercial, residential and agricultural properties to support the delivery of the Council’s outcomes.

Staying Close is a project that seeks to improve the lives of looked after young people when they’re moving into independence. The support workers role will be to provide practical and emotional support according to their specific needs. Typically, service users include vulnerable children and young adults, young offenders, and those suffering with alcohol and substance miss use or mental health issues. The service users will have historic evidence of not being able to live independently either physically or mentally.
The main aim of the support worker is to help service users learn to live as independently as possible, by identifying and supporting them in their areas of need. Thereby enabling them to have the skills to live independently. They may work with service users who have short term support needs or those with longer term or lifelong difficulties. The level of support given to the service users will vary depending on the specifications of their needs, there will be clear plans of support which will be produced by all professionals involved. The support will be based within semi-independence flats, outreach in young people homes, care homes, community and at organised drop in session.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management and Leadership Specialist to join our team and will play a critical role in the development and delivery of our new A-cademy curriculum.
This is a new role, reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work closely with the partnering team and service to identify organisation development needs and implement a skill gap and training need analysis framework that will inform the curriculum and delivery plans.
This role is a blended working role (the duties of the role may require a blend of home & office working in line with needs of the service). A high proportion of your time will be dedicated to training delivery, minimum 20 hours per week once the curriculum and content is designed and developed.
