Can you relate to the community within North East Lincolnshire and help support others to promote and develop their wellbeing?
The Wellbeing Worker role principally centres on providing person centred support to individuals requiring support with their general health and wellbeing. The permanent role will be based in primary care and community settings and the fixed term posts focusing on providing support to clients in the JobCentre.
The role will involve using a coaching approach to proactively engage and build supportive relationships with target populations in North East Lincolnshire with a view to empowering them to take control of and improve their health and well-being including managing a varied caseload of clients. Most of the work will involve 1 to 1 working with people signposted, referred or self-referred to the Wellbeing Service and may include some group work, virtual support and home visits. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possess good organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a dynamic team.
