Your Role & Team
Organisation and Service Design is a new discipline for us at NELC and we are excited about the opportunities that this approach will provide. This role will specialise in user-centred design, working closely with front-line services, our Transformation and Insights colleagues in multi-disciplinary project teams.
You will undertake a range of design activities including user-research, developing problem statements, development of ‘how might we’ ideas and solutions, solution design and prototyping work across a diverse range of services through the entire design process, from discovery and insight to creating and testing new solutions using prototypes, supporting policy development and system change and evaluation of impact.
Your Responsibilities The ideal candidate is someone who has demonstrable experience of designing services and who has experience of working to agile principles. You will need the ability to suggest solutions to help solve a problem, and have a passion for human-centred design, with excellent communication skills that enable you to quickly build relationships and trust with service users and those who provide those services.
You must be naturally curious, always looking to get to the root causes of problems, offer innovative responses and be willing to challenge the status quo.
